Darren Cecil

Darren Cecil owns the San DiegoSandlerTrainingCenter.  He works with CEO’s, Presidents, sales managers, and sales people on taking control of the sales process, shortening sales cycle times, eliminating the frustrations and disappointments of an erratic sales process,  implementing a selling system that produces predictable and consistent results while protecting all parties involved.   He also consults with companies on the hiring and evaluating a sales management team and sales force.  Darren also instructs CEO’s with tools and approaches to upgrade their sales force.

Darren Cecil worked with major corporations such as Qualcomm, Toyota, Genoptix, Honda, Anheuser Busch, Kyocera, Merrill Lynch, IBM, Health Net, Bio Whittaker, Genoptix, Smith Barney, American Express, SeaWorld, Boeing, and the National Football League (NFL).   He worked with San Diego based companies including San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Communications Plus, Barney and Barney, San Diego Kitchen and Bath, Coffee Ambassador, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, D and D Tools, McGregor Plant Sales, Mellano and Company, and Custom Matrix. The NFL hired Darren to train 4000 volunteers that worked the Super Bowl.

Darren attended Emerson College for his bachelors degree and graduated with his masters degree from The Ohio State University.  He has a scholarship named after him at Emerson College entitled the Darren Cecil Scholarship.

In addition to his professional work in the San Diego business community, Darren is very active in local civic organizations such as The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the San Diego Rotary Club 33, a Board Member of The Executives Association of San Diego, San Diego Employers Association and the Chairmens Round Table.   He is also a national speaker and published author.  He was an adjunct faculty instructing in leadership and management courses at The University of San Diego.  He is known for his use of simulation and appropriate use of humor.  He is married and has three children.
